Price
Promotional, member, and promo-code discounts are calculated consistently and only on the server.
Project 03 · Mobile Commerce
A mobile grocery delivery service for Kazakhstan with a catalog, Market Club, map-based addresses, checkout, and a unified operations system for the team.
01 / Context
The shopper needs to see current availability, clear savings, and available delivery, while the team manages the full cycle from one operational environment.
The key challenge was to connect the mobile experience to real inventory, multiple discount mechanisms, addresses, delivery windows, payments, and support. The final price must not depend on data sent by the app.
Promotional, member, and promo-code discounts are calculated consistently and only on the server.
Cities, addresses, warehouses, inventory, and delivery windows are connected to checkout.
Catalog, orders, payments, support, and content are managed in one administration system.
02 / Solution
The app handles the customer journey, the API handles rules and data, and the administration panel supports the team in its daily work.
One journey from city selection and product search to checkout and order history.
The API is the source of truth, recalculates the cart, and applies access rules.
Operational sections for managing the catalog, customers, and order fulfilment.
03 / Capabilities
Customer-facing features and operational processes run on one data model and the same server-side rules.
Category hierarchy, product pages, galleries, favourites, and barcode or QR search.
The app sends the product and quantity; the backend calculates the final price and discounts.
Membership plans, validity periods, special prices, savings history, and renewal management.
Promo codes, separate discount breakdowns, an address, a delivery window, and a note for the courier.
Point selection, geolocation, address suggestions, and city-based product availability.
A hosted session saves the payment method without exposing card details to the app.
Russian, Kazakh, and English interfaces with translated catalog content and documents.
Users, warehouses, orders, payments, delivery, promo codes, banners, reports, and support.
04 / Interface
A dark emerald palette and gold accents unify the storefront, catalog, product page, cart, and membership flow.
The main app flows are shown: the home storefront, catalog, product page, cart, and Market Club.
05 / Reliability
Critical decisions stay off the client app, while integrations are isolated behind clear contracts.
The client sends only the product identifier and quantity; the server recalculates the price.
OTP requests are rate-limited by phone number and source, while token lifetimes are controlled.
The app opens the provider hosted page, while the backend receives only a payment token.
Critical changes go through roles, an action log, and soft deactivation of entities.
06 / Results
The app connects product selection, personal value, the cart, and ordering with one operational workspace for the team.
